Team spirit exists in ‘The County’

To the editor:
    On behalf of the hundreds of home care and hospice patients we serve throughout Aroostook County, we would like to thank the volunteers, golf teams, business sponsors and staff members that participated in the 4th Annual VNA/Hospice Golf Classic.    We would like to note the special efforts of Erin Benson and Dottie Fitzgerald, co-chairs of this event. We appreciate their hard work and dedication on our behalf. In four years the golf tournament has net nearly $35,000 for our home care and hospice programs and services. This annual fundraiser is one way that helps ensure our vital home services continue to be provided to those that need it.
    An event like this reminds us of the team spirit that exists in The County. We are deeply grateful for your support.
