relocate to North Street

PRESQUE ISLE — TAMC has relocated its outpatient specialty clinics to its North Street Healthcare facility in Presque Isle to provide easier, more convenient access for patients, and to allow for expansion of services.

The clinic was previously housed in the Presque Isle Medical Office Building on the A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital campus on Academy Street.
“In the past, we had a few patients mention how difficult it was to get in to see us, both in terms of general appointments and accessibility to the facility. The move to the new building has been tremendous. We have found there to be a number of improvements, the general flow of operations, services and patient convenience are a few of the most notable changes,” said Cam Hayward, TAMC outpatient specialty clinics manager. “The move has allowed us to provide our patients with ample parking closer to the entrance, quicker turnaround on appointments, and the convenience of care at a centralized location.”
Another exciting addition brought about by the relocation has been the expansion of clinic offerings. Prior to the move, OSC offered services within the areas of pain management, endocrinology, nephrology, rheumatology, podiatry and dermatology. The new location has enabled a number of these existing clinics to both improve and expand.
“Our move has allowed our dermatologists Dr. David Horne and Dr. Nathan Uebelhoer the opportunity to see more patients,” said Hayward. “We can now offer our dermatology patients more timely appointments.”
“This move has been a very positive experience; I have been a dermatology patient for years, long before the move to the new location,” said Paulette Bell of Bridgewater. “I feel that the move has offered more privacy, more convenient parking, it’s far less congested and the space — in general — is just more inviting.”
The Outpatient Specialty Clinic, located at 19 North St. next to County Dialysis, is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. For more information, call 768-4457.
