Employees honored during annual breakfast

    PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The University of Maine at Presque Isle honored several employees for their years of service during the annual Welcome Back and Employee Appreciation Breakfast held on Aug. 30.

Twenty employees were recognized for their combined 355 years of service to the University. Employees were honored with various tokens of appreciation, from pewter mugs and clocks to lamps and rocking chairs.
Recognized for 35 years of service was Malcolm A. Coulter.

Recognized for 30 years of service were: Connie M. Levesque, Dr. Robert J. Pinette and Gretchen M. Brissette.
Recognized for 25 years of service were: Ricky Wasson, Dr. Zhu-Qi Lu and Dr. Kevin McCartney.

Recognized for 20 years of service were: Laura J. Bouchard, Jean A. Henderson and Erin V. Benson.

     Recognized for 15 years of service were: Kathy K. Davis, Shirley J. Rush and Dr. John J. Zaborney.

     Recognized for 10 years of service were: Danette N. Madore, Kathryn H. Higgins and Denise Hamel.

     Recognized for five years of service were: Donna M. White, Gregory P. Doak, Carolyn Dorsey-Durepo and Dr. Jacquelyn A. Lowman.

     “We owe a great deal of thanks to our dedicated and hard-working faculty and staff, who work every day to keep our campus running smoothly and efficiently,” UMPI President Linda Schott said. “Due to their efforts, our campus community is stronger and our students are very well served.”
