The Mapleton Daze Committee will be hosting a fund-raiser supper and auction this Saturday, Nov. 2. The dinner will consist of baked beans, ham, potato salad, coleslaw and rolls with brownie a la mode for dessert. The meal will be served at the Lions Hall from 4:30-6:30 p.m. with the auction to follow at 7 p.m. Dinner will be $7 for adults and $3 for children under 12.
Items are still being collected for the auction. If you would like to donate, please contact Nola Farley at 551-5665 to arrange for pick up or delivery.

Anniversary wishes this week go out to Bill and Jayne Parker on the 30th, Bob and Mimi Lewandowski on the 31st, Tracy and Lisa Simpson on Nov. 2, and Chris and Kim Woodworth on Nov. 5.
Church luncheon
The Mapleton United Methodist Church will be hosting its monthly luncheon this Friday, Nov. 1 at 11:30 a.m. Come in out of the chilly fall temperatures to enjoy a home-cooked meal! Donations accepted. Bingo will follow the luncheon.
Harvest supper
On Saturday, Nov. 9, the United Methodist Women will be having a public chicken pot pie harvest supper with homemade pie for dessert from 5-6:30 p.m. There will be live musical entertainment following at 6:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
