“A jigsaw because you can use it to do all kinds of stuff.
You can saw stuff and you can also use it to smooth stuff out.
It wouldn’t really fit in a toolbox.
You’ll have to hang it up somewhere in a workshop.”

“I think saws would be the most important.
They’re used for cutting wood and carpenters need wood to build things.
Also bricks because they’re used for making buildings like schools, houses and skyscrapers.”

“A hammer because you can pound nails and stuff.
I’ve helped my Dad build someone’s house before.
I just do the hammer stuff and he did all the other tools.
Sometimes I miss the nail and sometimes I bend it, but then you use the other side of the hammer and fix the nail and pound it back in.”

You can also use a hammer to knock things down.
Hammers are pretty heavy.
They weigh 30 pounds.”

“A drill because you can drill into stuff like a piece of wood to build a house.
With a really strong drill you can even drill into bricks.
I saw a drill as big as your foot.”
