J Patricia (Sargent) Finemore

FINEMORE, J. Patricia (Sargent), 72, MARS HILL, October 4, 2013. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wed., Oct. 9, at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan Funeral Home, Mars Hill.

     MARS HILL – J Patricia (Sargent) Finemore passed away peacefully, October 4, 2013, with her daughter and granddaughter by her side. Pat was born September 23, 1941, in Mars Hill, daughter of late Percy & Gertrude (Gilmore) Sargent.
    Pat was a very loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and wife. Pat was very active in the Bridgewater Historical Society and loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren and watching them grow.
    Pat is survived by her two children, Helena Antworth & fiancé, Dusty Case, and H.M. Cates Finemore II (Bim) & Christine Finemore, all of Bridgewater; one sister and brother-in-law, Jane Ann and Maynard McEwen; one brother and sister-in-law, Phil and Janice Sargent, all of Presque Isle; four grandchildren, Louis Finemore, Katie and Adam Nichols, Rickey Antworth and significant other, Brooke Lavway, and Lauren Antworth, all of Bridge-water. Pat also leaves behind three great-grandchildren: Brystal Antworth, Lila & Otto Nichols, and many nieces and nephews.
    Along with her parents, Pat was predeceased by her husband, H.M. Finemore.
    Friends and family called on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at Duncan Funeral Home in Mars Hill from 6-8 p.m., and may call on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m., where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Smith Cemetery, and a reception will follow at the Mars Hill Funeral Home.
