All-star runners determined

    CARIBOU — Aroostook League all-stars in cross country were determined Friday during a meet involving all Aroostook County schools held at Caribou High School.

    The first 10 to cross the finish line in both the girls’ and boys’ races were selected as All-Aroostook runners and will be recognized for the achievements later this fall.

    Those runners, along with their placement and times on the five-kilometer course are, for girls, first, Carsyn Koch of Washburn, 21:05; second, Nerissa Larrabee, Caribou, 21:46; third, Tori Koch, Washburn, 21:49.3; fourth, Rylee Warman, GHCA, 21:49.6; fifth, Robyn Larrabee, Caribou, 22:16; sixth, Mackenzie Worcester, Washburn, 22:38; seventh, Emily Colligan, Presque Isle, 22:39; eighth, Carmen Bragg, Washburn, 22:42; ninth, Mandy Graham, Presque Isle, 22:43; and 10th, Emilia Churchill, Washburn, 22:49.
    For boys, the top-10 included: first, Matthew Toussaint, Fort Kent, 17:05; second, Lucas Kinney, Caribou, 18:12; third, Saul Nunez, 18:31.7; fourth, Trevor Levesque, Presque Isle, 18:39; fifth, Dustin Drabek, Presque Isle, 18:44; sixth, Sam Ouellette, Fort Kent, 18:52; seventh, Tsion McLeod, Caribou, 18:59; eighth, Derek Baker, Washburn, 19:03; ninth, Jason Bartley, Presque Isle, 19:20; and 10th, Tyler Strid, Caribou, 19:29.
    For team scores, the Washburn girls won with 25 points, followed by Caribou with 40 and Presque Isle with 67. The boys’ champion was Presque Isle, who scored 33 points. Caribou was the runner-up with 39 and Fort Kent placed third with 58.
    The Washburn, Caribou and Presque Isle teams will make a trip to Old Town Saturday for the annual Sectional Meet.
