Bonville crowned Miss Maine Collegiate
SACO — Casey Lynn Bonville of Presque Isle, a UM-Fort Kent sophomore and Dean’s List student, was crowned Miss Maine Collegiate 2014 on Saturday, Aug. 17 at Thornton Academy’s Garland Auditorium.

CASEY BONVILLE takes her first walk after being named Miss Maine Collegiate 2014 during a pageant in Saco Aug. 17. The Presque Isle resident is a sophomore at the University of Maine at Fort Kent, majoring in business management.
Bonville graced the stage, also winning Miss Photogenic, the Facebook People’s Choice Photo Contest, and runway fashion. She tied for first in the evening gown portion of the competition.
The 19-year-old was presented a prize package worth over $10,000, which includes an all-expense paid trip to Orlando, Fla. in July 2014 to compete at the National Miss Collegiate America pageant. She also represented the same organization as Miss Maine High School in 2012.
She majors in business management with a concentration in entrepreneurship and is the daughter of Sandra and Fred Bonville.
Bonville will spend the year promoting the Crown C.A.R.E.S (Creating A Respectful Environment in Schools) and the Unite Against Bullying ME Project. She is asking for the community to support in her efforts to raise money for the Unite Against Bullying ME Walk, Run, or Roll event in Saco, Sunday, Oct. 6.
Aroostook County was well represented with three other young ladies bringing home awards from the pageant weekend. An afternoon competition crowned Emily Collins of Mapleton Miss Maine Pre-School 2014. She is the daughter of Michelle and Darren Collins. Emma Langille of Mapleton won an award for her outstanding community service. She is the daughter of Jen and Carroll Langille Jr.
Delaney Alward of Mapleton was named first runner up for Miss Maine Elementary and won an award for the Facebook People’s Choice Photo Contest. She is the daughter of Wendy and Chris Maple and David Alward.
