    Barbara Leach and Kristi Bray make up the office of B & R Insurance Agency, located at 55 North St. in Presque Isle.

    What is it that makes B & R Insurance different? Owners Barb and Kristi are a mother/daughter team who work for their clients.
    “I have been in the insurance business since 1987. I specialize in Medicare supplements, Medicare Part D, life insurance and annuities,” said Barb, adding, “when you have a question, I have the answer or will find the answer for you.”
    Kristi has been working with her mother for more than a decade.
    “I have worked for my mom part-time for 12 years and came to work full time in June of 2012. I studied for my insurance license and received my agent’s license this past December,” said Kristi.
    While still serving their clients who have Medicare, Barb and Kristi have recently expanded their services. They now offer critical care, accident and cancer insurance, as well as options for your final expenses.
    “Critical care is an option that may be considered for those who are unable to get long-term care insurance,” said Barb.
    “B & R Insurance works with local experts who are available to help guide their clients through questions they may have about their insurance needs,” Barb continued.
