BREWER, Mark W., 47, PRESQUE ISLE, at Mars Hill, July 28, 2013. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.

     PRESQUE ISLE – Mark W. Brewer, 47, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on July 28, 2013, at his camp in Mars Hill. He was born in Houlton on August 19, 1965, the son of Floyd and Connie (King) Brewer.
    He was a beloved father, husband, son, brother, uncle and the best friend a person could have. Mark enjoyed living life to the fullest with his family and friends everyday. His favorite conversations were ones that included telling stories of his children and how proud he was of them. Mark loved to watch his children play hockey and have fun with their friends. An avid outdoorsman, he cherished all his time in the woods and at his camp, strumming his guitar and singing for all to hear. As an educator to youth in the building trades, he loved seeing these young people learn a trade and go out into the world and provide for themselves. Some of his favorite times were with his wife growing gardens and putting up fresh vegetables for their family, traveling to his wife’s hometown of Kiev, Ukraine, was among his favorite adventures with his family. Mark was a member of the Presque Isle Elks Club.
    He is survived by his wife, Natasha Brewer of Presque Isle; his mother, Connie Brewer King of Woodstock, N.B., Canada; a son, Alex Brewer; and a daughter, Alisa Brewer, both of Presque Isle; a brother, Mike Brewer and his wife, Pam of Houlton; two sisters, Linda Brewer of Houlton, and Cindy Unfusser and her husband, Tom of Texas; special nephews, Ryan and Scott Brewer, and James Unfusser; a niece, Dawn Unfusser; a great-nephew, Kyle Brewer; a step-brother, Steve McQueen of Houlton; a step-sister, Gail Gagnon of Portage; special friends, Dennis Dyer of Presque Isle, and Ryan Bushey of Houlton.
    He was predeceased by his father, Floyd Brewer.
    Relatives and friends may call 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Friday, with Pastor Darren Bonville officiating. Interment will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Presque Isle. Donations may be made to Natasha Brewer, 32 Oak St., Presque Isle, ME 04769, in support of his children’s education fund.
