PARKER, Lynne Theresa, 54, VENICE, FL, Kennebunkport and Mapleton, ME, at Florida, March 5, 2013. On Aug. 8, the family will be celebrating her life from 1-4 p.m., in Kennebunkport. Arrangements are in care of Bibber Memorial Chapel, Kennebunk, ME.

VENICE, FL – Lynne Theresa Parker, formerly of Kennebunkport and Mapleton, ME, passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack at her home in Venice, FL, on March 5, 2013. She was 54. Lynne was born in Lowell, MA, to Everett and Theresa Parker.
She graduated from Kennebunk High School and went on to pursue extensive flight training which led to several years working as a flight instructor in both southern and northern Maine. Up until her recent move to Florida, Lynne worked as a driver for Hedrich Vending Co in Presque Isle, ME. As her career choices indicate, Lynne loved to be on the move and was proficient behind the wheel or at  helm of any type of vehicle, on land, at sea or in the sky. Planes, trucks, motorcycles, snowmobiles, boats and campers – Lynne owned at least one of each in her lifetime and mastered them all. In every season, she spent as much time as she could outdoors and was drawn to the beauty of nature.
In recent years, she became an avid cruiser and enjoyed vacations with family exploring different islands in the Caribbean.
Lynne moved to Florida in May of 2011 and often said that she’d never felt happier. She loved her life in Venice and weather permitting, regularly spent part of each day at the dog beach there with her beloved yellow lab, Harley.
Lynne was a caring friend to many and a devoted sister and aunt.
She is survived by her sister- and brother-in law, Gail and Bernard Smith; nephew, Parker Smith; and grandniece, Silver Lynne of Wilsonville, OR; niece, Jessica Lynne Smith of Pasadena, CA; as well as long time partner and friend, Fred Ayotte of Gorham, ME; and many cousins. She is dearly missed by all.
On August 8, the family will be celebrating Lynne’s life and holding an open house from 1-4 p.m., at the home of Gordon and Jeannie Lewis in Kennebunkport. Private commitment will be the following morning at Arundel Cemetery. Please contact Gail at mokijo2@hotmail.com for more information. Arrangements are in care of Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St., Kennebunk, ME 04043. www.bibberfuneral.com.
