Color Presque Isle 5K
The Color Presque Isle 5K will take place on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 9 a.m. and will start at Riverside Park. The Color Presque Isle 5K is an event all about fun, fitness and the arts. Like many of the runs that have hit the nation, this one drops colored powder on participants incrementally throughout the course so participants should dress in white and let volunteers supply the color.
The registration fee is $25 if turned in by Aug. 1 and $30 after that.

Soccer officials’ clinic
The Northern Maine Board of Approved Soccer Officials will conduct a clinic for prospective soccer officials Saturday, Aug. 3 at 9 a.m. in the ski building at the Caribou High School athletic complex.
There is a $35 fee for the clinic. Pre-registration is recommended.
