Father and son top two in Milk Run
MAPLETON — A father-son duo from Caribou finished in the top two positions at the inaugural Mapleton Farm Fest 5K Milk Run June 30.
Fourteen-year-old Dillon Beckum won the race in 20 minutes and 44 seconds and his father, Thomas, was the runner-up in 20:53.
Two other Caribou runners were next, as Jeremy Doak finished in 22:18 and Andres Fleury in 23:15.
Sam Ouellette of New Canada took fifth in 23:37. The remainder of the top-10 included Dustin Drabek of Presque Isle (23:52), Nicole Hanscom of Caribou (25:53), Trinity Smith of Biscayne Park, Fla. (26:38), Mitchell Guiggey of Mapleton (28:36) and Amber Dodge of Presque Isle (28:37).
