Drugs stolen from ambulances

FORT FAIRFIELD — Police continue to investigate the theft of drugs from the Crown Ambulance garage that occurred on June 5.
“Sometime during the early morning hours of June 5, someone entered the Crown Ambulance garage located at 10 Brown St. in Fort Fairfield. After making entry, the person(s) searched the ambulances parked in the garage and took a quantity of narcotics from inside the vehicles,” said Chief Bill Campbell, of the Fort Fairfield Police Department.
In a phone conversation Tuesday, Campbell said his department continues to investigate the case.
“We haven’t made any arrests yet in connection with the theft. We welcome any tips the public can provide that will help solve this case,” said Campbell.
The FFPD is looking for any information the public may have in reference to this burglary and theft, including any vehicles or people that may have been seen in the area that appeared suspicious in nature.
