We will be having a contest to choose the picture for the Kiwanis’ calendar again this year. If you would like to submit a picture, please bring it to the town office by July 31 and place it in the envelope marked “Kiwanis picture contest.”
Requirements for the picture, It must:
• Depict Easton;
• Have a good quality composition and resolution;
• Be a photographic print (no ink jet pictures);
• Be your own work;
• Be three and a half by seven inches in size; and
• Have your name, address and telephone number on the back.
Church to host event
The Easton Wesleyan Church will be hosting The Supreme Court Jesters, who will perform juggling, illusion and more — all with a gospel theme. Come join us Sunday, June 23, at 10:45 a.m. All are welcome.
Baccalaureate
Local clergy conducted baccalaureate services at Easton Jr/Sr High School on Sunday, June 2. Participating pastors were: Rev. Carlos DeCruz from the Pine Tree Baptist Church, and Pastor Vaughn Martin and Rev. Rob McDowell from the Easton Wesleyan Church. Rev. Rob McDowell gave the baccalaureate address.
Class Night
Class Night was held at Easton Jr/Sr High School on Wednesday, June 5.
The faculty made presentations to students who achieved the highest level of proficiency across the curriculum.
