Family to benefit from Fun Day
To the editor:
Me and some friends will be having a Fun Day for our family at Mantle Lake on Saturday, June 15 to raise money for the Easler/Deveau families who lost our Parsons Road home to fire on Feb. 14.
Laser tag will be there with lots of fun things for the kids. I will be painting kids’ faces with washable markers. There will be a huge bounce house and 75 laser tags, the twister and more. We are also going to have homemade baked beans, hot dogs and potato salad.
I know I am only 15 going on 16 really soon, but all of this has really made me grow up fast. We are still living in the little camper, and it has been really hard on everyone. My Gram and Gramp are staying in an uncle’s little two-room apartment because the camper was way too hard on them. The rain put a stop to getting the land ready as my Gramp sunk out of sight. A wonderful chicken breast fundraiser for us was held at the KC Hall on May 8, but the turnout was light. I think its because there wasn’t enough advertisement.
At this point it doesn’t look like we will ever be back together again in one home. I would really like to thank everyone that has donated and helped us so far. Please let me know if you can help us.
Thank you ahead of time.
