Roll-off results at Northern Lanes
PRESQUE ISLE — The Northern Lanes’ bowling leagues concluded recently with the roll-offs being held.
In the Monday evening National League, Rob’s Pit Stop defeated Aroostacast in the finals, 3,143-3,102.
Washburn Redemption Center and Pizza Box were the others teams that reached the semifinal round.
High string was shared by Matt Simonds and Dan Dyer, each with 153s. Ray Miller had the high total with 656, with Michael Lee following with 621.
In the Atlantic League, which was held Tuesdays, the top-ranked Hafford’s Halfwitz downed TAMC in the finals, 1,932-1,790. TAMC knocked off Cairn’s Carpentry in one semifinal, while Hafford’s defeated Cindy’s in the other.
Missy Hall had the high string, registering 150. Laurie Carney followed with 136. The high-three belonged to Norma LaFrance with 369. Annie Michaud was next with 345.
In the American League, the fourth-ranked Parson Street Redemption Center squad upended No. 2 Dead River, 1,529-1,497. Also reaching the semis in the Wednesday night league were top-ranked Eagle Hill and third-ranked MPG Farm Store.
Lee had the high string at 179, followed by Derek Ouelette at 167. Lee also had the high-four with 538 pins and Rudy Hoffert was next with 520.
CFP stopped Team 5 in the Thursday night Independent League, 1,971-1,942. The top seeds, PI Elks A and Trombley’s, were both knocked off in the semifinals.
Mike Gardiner had the high string and Steve Spooner was second. Their scores were 167 and 163, respectively. Gardiner also had the high-three with 413 pins and Dave Donahue was the runner-up with 402.
In the Sunday night Mixed Doubles League, fifth seed Who Cares scored a 1,503-1,411 triumph over No. 2 Go Team in the finals. Whatever and GFD were the other semifinalists.
LaFrance had the high string for women with 147 and Tracie Morris was second with 139. Cindy French had the high total with 363 and Carol Bell was next with 354. For the men, Gardiner rolled a 150 for the high string and Rob French was second with 148. Gardiner posted the high total with 404 and Dave Donahue had 372, good for second place.
