    Dr. Dinah and Dr. Jose Tungol of Presque Isle, ME, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Maria Luisa (Malu) V. Tungol, to Shannon D. Ashmon, son of Mr. Calvin and Mrs. Geraldine Ashmon of Montezuma, GA.
    Ms. Tungol (Presque Isle High School Class of 1997), a graduate of Smith College and Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health, is a behavioral scientist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, GA.
    Mr. Ashmon graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and is a clinical specialist with Corcept Therapeutics and a graduate student at Emory University’s Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, GA.
    A September wedding in Cape Elizabeth, ME, is planned.
