Bring back ‘Eats, Treats and Sweets’
To the editor:
As one of the artists participating in this month’s Art Walk, I had the pleasure of dining at Star City Coffee, one of the principal businesses featured in all the Art Walks and part of the “Eats, Treats and Sweets” segments hosted by Randi Nissenbaum of WAGM TV8.
I found the atmosphere relaxing and quite down home. And the soup du jour, chicken stew, was very tasty and filling; it hit the spot. It was the perfect meal for one of those cold and snowy evenings.
I hope Star City Coffee continues to serve people, and I wish “Eats, Treats and Sweets” had stayed on WAGM TV8 to inform the public of more of these places where people can sit down and enjoy a great meal.
