Students prepare for Senior Play

EASTON NEWS

by Debbie Smith

The annual Senior Play will be held at the Easton Jr./Sr. High School on Friday, April 12, at 7 p.m.

The title of the play is “Where There’s a Will There’s a Murder,” by Michael Druce. It is produced by specific arrangements with Heuer Publishing LLC of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The charge to get in is $2 for students and $4 for adults. This should be a great play, so hope to see you all there.

Congratulations Carla

We would like to express our congratulations to Carla Halvorson for being selected to receive the MPA Principal’s Award. Carla is the daughter of Chuck and Tracey Halvorson. Carla and Mr. Adams, Easton’s principal, attended an Honors Luncheon at the Spectacular Event Center on Bangor on April 6.
Again congratulations, Carla. We are very proud of you.

Headed to UMFK

Jared Hafford has been accepted at the University of Maine at Fort Kent, where he plans to attend college. He will also be a part of the basketball team, the Bengals. We would like to wish him the best. Congratulations, we know you will do great. Looking forward to following your games next year.

Visitors

Mark and Carole Smith were home visiting with Mark’s mom, Ezalee, for a few days. They also visited with other family members. While here they did some shopping.
