WASHBURN NEWS
by Beth Boddy
Congratulations to Noah Caron, Washburn District High School’s Student of the Month. Noah already has quite a list of accomplishments as a freshman this year. He serves as the secretary/treasurer of his class and has been very helpful in class meetings.
This past fall, Noah played soccer and was a member of the boys’ cross country team. He was the only boy to qualify for the state meet from the Washburn group. He is a member of the varsity squad on the basketball team. At the Southern Aroostook game, the radio announcers from 101.9 Rock named him the Player of the Game. Academically, Noah is a leader in his class.
