Music Boosters to meet

The SAD 45 Music Boosters Club will be holding their next Music Boosters meeting on Thursday, Feb. 7, at 6:30 p.m. at the Washburn Elementary School and are looking for any parents or community members who would be interested in helping to build the music program in the Washburn school system.
Chandler honored
Congratulations go out to Charly-Rae Chandler, of Crouseville, who has been named to the dean’s list at Husson University for the fall semester 2012. To be named to the dean’s list, students must earn a 3.4 or better grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
August Festival Committee
The next August Festival Committee meeting will be held on Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Civic Center. We would love to have more members on the committee and will be making plans for the 2013 August Festival. Constructive comments and suggestions are always welcome.
