HOYT, Joyce May (Benson), 82, BLAINE, January 18, 2013. Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013, at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Mars Hill.

    BLAINE – Joyce May (Benson) Hoyt, 82, retired CNA, went to join her husband, Earl, with the Lord on January 18, 2013, following several years of illness. She was born November 9, 1930, the daughter of Luther and Lena Benson Sr.
    She is survived by a brother, Garold Benson and his wife, Marilyn of Groton, CT; two sons, Eugene Hoyt and his wife, Susan of Surprise, AZ, and Robert Hoyt and his wife, Veline of Fairbanks, AK; five grandchildren, Ted Hoyt, Mary Luckey, Jason Hoyt, Vanessa Webster, and Robin Freirch; and 12 great-grandchildren.
    She was predeceased by her husband, Earl; her mother and father; her two brothers, Clayton and Luther Jr.; and three sisters, Mary, Hattie and Winifred.
    Friends may call Friday, January 25, 2013, from noon until the time of service at Duncan Funeral Home, 8 Main Street, Mars Hill, where a memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. with Rev. Mark Carter officiating. Interment will be at Tapley Cemetery in the spring.
