DENBOW, Wendell E., 52, CASTLE HILL, at Bangor, January 2, 2013. Spring interment will be at Wendell E. Denbow Family Cemetery in Lubec. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, Presque Isle.
CASTLE HILL – Wendell E. Denbow, 52, passed away January 2, 2013, at a Bangor hospital. He was born on July 19, 1960, in Lubec, the son of Frank B. and Eva M. Denbow. He worked for many years as a Millwright and welder. Wendell enjoyed riding his Harley, loved playing his guitar, Harmonica and drums, “a one man band”. He loved gardening, loved children, and loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa (LaCombe) Denbow of Castle Hill; a son, Dustin Scott Denbow of Old Town; a foster son, Gregory Carney of Rockland; two daughters, Jessica Seeley and her husband, Jamie of Lubec, Brittany Denbow and her significant other, Eric York of Presque Isle; a brother, Frank Denbow Jr. and his wife, April of Wells; two sisters, Loretta Moulton and her husband, Elmer of Cape Neddick, Raymah Lyons and her husband, Wallace of Meddy-bemps; four grandchildren, Ethan, Isabelle and Zachary Seeley, and Dustin Scott Denbow Jr.; and many special nieces and nephews that he loved dearly as well as special relationships with his brother- and sister-in-laws.
He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Marilyn Denbow.
Friends called 6-8 p.m., Mon., at the Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. Funeral services were held 1 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the Mapleton Baptist Church with the Dr. Rev. Kenneth Phelps officiating. Spring interment will be at Wendell E.
