WASHBURN NEWS
by Beth Boddy
On Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at 6 p.m., a very important training session will be offered by Chris Bell, the financial aid director at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.
Parents and students need to attend and learn how to complete the FAFSA from an expert. Remember, all post-secondary ed schools require the FAFSA, even if you are only applying for a student loan. Students and parents must have PIN numbers to complete the FAFSA and it is recommended that they obtain these PIN numbers prior to the meeting.
Those interested can obtain their PIN numbers by visiting http://www.pin.ed.gov. It only takes a few minutes to complete.
Before the training session, you may also want to go to: http://www.finaid.ucsb.edu/fafsasimplification/index.html to view Seven Easy Steps to the FAFSA. Mark this on your calendar today! Don’t miss this opportunity.
