THE GENERAL LEE, made famous by the television series “The Dukes of Hazzard,” has been spotted on the streets of Presque Isle. Owner Troy Nichols, of Presque Isle, purchased the replica recently and has enjoyed the attention the car has received, as passersby wave and take pictures. But like the Dukes before him, some of that attention has been from law enforcement, as pictured in this staged shot at the Presque Isle Police Department — with Nichols asking Sgt. Eric Erickson “What did I do?”
