Road race scheduled
CARIBOU — The annual Turkey Trot 5K Road Race will go off at 10 a.m. sharp at Caribou High School on Saturday, Nov. 24. Walkers will begin at 9:45 a.m. and registration, which takes place in the gym lobby, will start at 8:30 a.m.
The fee to participate is $13.
The traditional Turkey Trot awards will be given to the overall winners and the top age group award winners in several categories.
The post-race meal will be the delicious traditional turkey-topped pizza.
“We hope to see a great turnout this year and really look to emphasize the concept of fitness and the health benefits that come along with it,” said race director Evan Graves.
A long sleeve T-shirt will be available to the first 60 runners to register.
