Hoop kick-off slated at Wieden
PRESQUE ISLE — The University of Maine at Presque Isle will hold its annual “Midnight Madness” event to kick off the 2012-13 season on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at Wieden Gymnasium.
Fans will get an opportunity to meet the coaches and players for both the women’s and men’s teams. There will also be a dunk competition, a three-point contest, autographs and photos with the players. Prizes will be up for grabs and the first 100 college students and 50 community members through the door will receive a free T-shirt.
