Engels brings
refreshing approach to Council

While attending a recent social event, my husband and I were engaged in conversation by Dick Engels.
He asked us how we felt about a number of current concerns that exist here in Presque Isle. He asked us a number of questions including how we felt about fireworks and if we were disturbed by them. He asked how we felt about the proposed new recreation building, he also asked our opinion on the traffic options for Main Street and how we felt about pedestrian safety. We were impressed because this elected city official actually took the time to ask the people he represents how they feel about different issues and concerns in the community.
Richard Engels wants to keep his seat on the Presque Isle City Council. He would like to continue to be a voice for the people in this community. We think he’s an excellent choice.
Next Tuesday Nov. 6, we’re going to vote for Richard Engels and we’d ask all Presque Isle voters to do the same. He’s here for the duration; he’ll continue to be a good person to have representing us on the Council. He’s got experience and outstanding common sense.
