PRESQUE ISLE — Is your company or organization concerned about the health and safety of your customers or patrons? Does the Occupational Safety and Health Administration require your employees be certified in first aid and CPR? If so, it may be more cost effective and easier on staff scheduling if you have an employee trained to conduct these courses.
To this end, the American Red Cross and Aroostook Health and Safety Plus will be offering an instructor training course Sept. 24-25 at The Aroostook Medical Center from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day. The cost is $150 and you can register by going to www.aroostookhealthandsafetyplus.com.
After registering, individuals will be contacted about doing the prerequisite work and given instructions on how to get their company, organization or themselves involved in the American Red Cross.
