PRESQUE ISLE – Geneva Michaud, 84, passed away Monday Sept. 17, 2012, at Madigan Estates in Houlton. She was born in Quimby on Feb. 11, 1928, the daughter of Francois and Gertrude (Morneault ) Gagnon. She was predeceased by her husband Roland Michaud in 1986 and her beloved friend Ron Smith in 2010.
Geneva is survived by two sons, Roy of Mapleton, Richard and his wife, Terry, of Saco; two daughters and their husbands, Karen and Kenneth Winiarski of Forest Township, Me., Tammy and John Fenyo of Medford, N.Y.; a brother, Carroll Gagnon of Stoughton, Mass.; two sisters, Madeline Saucier of Presque Isle, and Bernice Pappapietro of Bristol, CT., a sister-in-law Lorraine Gagnon of Skowhegan; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call 7-8 p.m. Wed. at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home, 30 Church St., Presque Isle. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood, Presque Isle. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
