To the editor:
I thought I would personally take the time to thank everyone that helped to make this year’s Portage Lake Summer Round Up event a great success. That’s what makes it fun and exciting, when everyone gets involved. There is a lot of talent out there and if everyone does a little, it helps to make it a special event.
There are very special people out there that have always been there for me and I can never thank you enough. I hope you all know who you are.
Thanks you to all the princesses out there that came out and took part and joined our very own princesses. All you parents should be proud of your daughters; I know I am because it’s an honor to be chosen.
Also, thank you to all our law enforcement, Armed Forces, Scouts, representatives, and all our ATV clubs and also all our other participants and our neighboring towns and people that came out to make it a special event.
Again, a very special thank you to all our participants and guests that came out to make this year’s festival a great success.
