When traveling, information is the main key

Ensuring a great trip is simple, with the right information. The staff at Crown Travel, located at 493 Main St., Presque Isle, is ready to help you put that data together to make your next journey a delight.
Lisa Levasseur, who owns the business with her husband, Bill Levasseur, offers some tips.
“Know before you go. Know the airline and their rules. They are not all the same. Some have agreements with other airlines, some do not,” said Levassaur.
Steps taken before a trip can help prevent problems, including lost luggage.
“You can find out such things as whether an airline will check your luggage to the final destination or will you need to pick it up at your next connecting airport. You can also find out if there’s a fee for checking luggage and if they charge for carry-ons,” she said.
“Information is key to having a pleasant travel experience,” said Levasseur.
Levasseur said she and her staff have the answers to all your travel questions.
“Whether you’re looking for just an airline ticket, thinking about a cruise or an all-inclusive beach vacation, we do all aspects of travel,” said Levasseur, noting Disney is a popular destination for families.
The Levasseurs use their own travel experience to better serve customers.
“We have traveled to a lot of these destinations, so we have firsthand experience,” said Levasseur.
The full-service travel agency has three full-time employees to answer all your travel inquiries. Business hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday; Saturday 9 a.m. to noon, except in the summer.
“We’ve been in business 19 years and are committed to excellence in customer service,” said Levasseur.
