Giant victory for the Lady Bears

The Easton Lady Bears soccer team won over the Fort Fairfield Tigers last week with a score of 6-4.
This is the first win ever over Fort Fairfield ladies’ soccer. They all did an awesome job.
Congratulations to you all. This is just the beginning of a great year, girls. Go Lady Bears.

Aunie Thomlinson, a little fan of the Easton girls’ soccer team, is cheering on her mom’s team. Her mom, Rachael Thomlinson, is the Easton varsity girl’s coach. Every time you see her she says ‘my mom is doing good, right?’
Being a lineman is a hard job, so Collin Sotomayer is taking a little break from chasing the soccer balls.

Madison Leach and Kerrigan Arnett are getting ready to do a bottle drive for the Easton athletes. They collected a lot of bottles.

Boys’ bottle drive — Jared Hafford, Tyler Gadaire, Hunter Turner and an unidentified boy are sorting bottles they collected from a bottle drive last weekend in Easton.

Michaud staff hours
Congressman Mike Michaud’s staff will be available to meet with constituents this week in Easton on issues they are facing with federal agencies and to discuss services available through his office.
On Thursday, Aug. 30, constituent service representative Rachel Smith will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Easton Town Office. If Mainers have any questions or would like to set up an appointment (not required), they are encouraged to call Smith at 764-1036.
