ARCULEO, Harriet E., 83, WINDHAM & HOULTON, August 16, 2012. There will be no visiting hours. Burial will be at a later date in Fairmont Cemetery, Presque Isle. Arrangements are in the care of Dolby Funeral Home, Windham.

    WINDHAM & HOULTON – Harriet E. Arculeo, 83, of Tandberg Trail, died Thursday, August 16. She was born in Washburn on June 1, 1929, a daughter of Vaughn and Laura Plissey Scott. Harriet was educated in the Washburn schools and attended Barbizon Modeling School in New York where she met the love of her life, Walter Arculeo and they were married for 40 years.
    Walter and Harriet moved from New York to Washburn and raised a family in the northern Maine area. Harriet relocated to Windham where she resided for the last 13 years. She was president of the Presque Isle Lionnettes during the 1960’s. Harriet was also active in St. Mary’s Church in Presque Isle as well as Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Windham. She loved knitting, crocheting, cooking, reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Harriet was a special mail person at Marcus Woods and was always willing to help people. Her pride and joy was her son, Jim.
    Harriet was predeceased by her husband, Walter; sisters, Vada, Fay and Gladys; and brother, Herbie.
    Survivors include her son, Jim Arculeo and wife, Lynn; daughters, Vickie and husband, Bill Bunnell, Gerri and husband, Denny Berry; sister, Charlene and husband, Bob Ouellette; grandchildren, Lindsay and Tyler, Abby, Brittany and Paul, Alex and Jenna; great-grandsons, Chase and Brandon; a special niece, Terry Brinkman and husband, David and their children, Erik and Joe; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    There will be no visiting hours. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 919 Roosevelt Trail, Windham. Burial will be at a later date in Fairmont Cemetery, Presque Isle. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to American Heart Association, 51 US Route 1, Suite M, Scarborough, ME  04074. Arrangements by Dolby Funeral Chapel.
