A HUGE CROWD cheered on recently in Fort Fairfield as one of the signature events of the annual Maine Potato Blossom Festival — mashed potato wrestling — took place near the food court. Participating in the team competition were several local teens, from left, Morgann Towle, Theresa Maynard, Alexis Coiley and Sydney McShea, who is on her knees behind the action.
