Safety training to be held
PRESQUE ISLE — The American Red Cross and Aroostook Health and Safety plus will be offering an adult and pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course Monday, August 20 at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. Class begins at 5:30 p.m.

The purpose of this course is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. It will also cover skills that participants need to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until advanced medical personnel arrive.
