Maine Potato Blossom Festival Parade

THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE braved the extreme afternoon heat Saturday for the longest parade in Aroostook County — the Maine Potato Blossom Festival Parade.
Hundreds of entries, including lots of tractors, antique and fresh off the showroom floor, as well as numerous politicians and pageant queens participated in the annual event which lasted more than two hours.
