Linda Zillman, at right, displays the Native basket created by nationally renowned Passamaquoddy basket weaver Jeremy Frey, which was shown for the first time during the Farewell Reception held on May 22 for her and University of Maine at Presque Isle President Don Zillman. UMPI’s Project Compass commissioned the basket for the University’s permanent collection; it will be displayed in the couple’s honor.
