    ASHLAND – Verna B. Pryor, 88, passed away Wednesday June 13, 2012, at her residence in Ashland. She was born in Castle Hill on April 18, 1924, the daughter of James and Mary Ellen (Kennedy) Richardson.
    Verna was a devoted mother and grandmother, and cherished by her family.
    She is survived by her daughter, Lucy (Pryor) Hutchinson and her husband, Lee of Portage Lake; a son, Boyd Pryor of Limestone; three grandchildren, Jason Harvey, Buxton Pryor, and Cortney Pryor; a sister, Leila Carey and her husband, Dwight of Washburn; and her former husband, Welman Pryor of Fort Fairfield.
