Superior Court
CARIBOU — The following cases were heard at the Aroostook County Superior Court during the month of February.
* 431 LLC, Presque Isle: violating public fire safety rule and installing non-complying insulation, $500 fine (each).
* Kenneth L. Adams, Sr., 54, Washburn: probation violation, 30 days in jail and probation partially revoked; and tampering with witness, informant, juror or victim, two years in prison, all suspended, two years’ probation and $2,100 restitution.
* Patrick Beaulieu, 56, Fort Fairfield: operating under the influence, not guilty.
* Chad E. Brewer, 34, Blaine: domestic violence assault, $300 fine, 75 days in jail, all but five days suspended and two years’ probation.
* Shawn C. Campbell, 23, Caribou: probation violation, nine months and one day in prison and probation revoked.
* Wilfredo Colon, 53, Fort Kent: criminal mischief, $500 fine; criminal threatening with dangerous weapon, operating while license suspended or revoked and aggravated assault, dismissed (each); driving to endanger, $500 fine and 30-day license suspension; and violating protective order, $1,000 fine.
* Colter B. Cross, 24, Caribou: assault, $300 fine, 11 months in jail, all but four months suspended, one-year probation and $5,512 restitution.
* Edward Dunne, 44, New Sweden: assault, $300 fine and eight months in jail; and gross sexual assault, not guilty.
* Jason J. Durand, 39, Ashland: operating after habitual offender revocation (three counts), $500 fine and 30 days in jail (first, second), $1,000 fine and six months in jail (third); violating condition of release, three months in jail; and OUI, one prior, $700 fine, 14 days in jail, three years’ license and registration suspension.
* Jesse D. Guyette, 26, Caribou: unlawful possession of oxycodone, dismissed; and unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine and five months in jail.
* Kristy J. Hastings, 24, Van Buren: probation violation, 90 days in jail and probation revoked.
* Ryan G. Helstrom, 26, Fort Fairfield: unlawful possession of scheduled drug, four months in jail.
* Jon M. Howe, 46, Presque Isle: OUI, two priors, $1,100 fine, two years in prison, all but four months suspended, two years’ probation, six years’ license suspension and $3,500 restitution; operating while license suspended or revoked, OUI, $600 fine, seven days in jail and one-year license suspension; aggravated criminal mischief and theft by unauthorized use of property, dismissed (each).
* Brian R. McBreairty, 44, Limestone: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, six months in prison.
* Troy E. McLean, 38, Limestone: OUI, no test, dismissed; and operating ATV under the influence, $500 fine.
* John Mitchell, 34, Bernard: using artificial light to illuminate wild animals, $500 fine; and night hunting, dismissed.
* Kenny L. Ouellette, 25, Van Buren: reckless conduct, $500 fine, 30 days in jail, all suspended and one-year administrative release sentence.
* Michael James Parker, 23, Caribou: probation violation, 90 days in jail and probation partially revoked.
* Ty Rothlauf, 46, Washburn: probation violation, 21 months in prison and probation revoked.
* Christopher Saunders, 23, Caribou: probation violation, one year in prison, probation partially revoked and probation continued; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, five years in prison, all suspended; and burglary, five years in prison, all suspended, three years’ probation and $12,210.09 restitution.
* Amanda Sherman, 33, Presque Isle: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, priors, (four counts), six months in jail (each); operating while license suspended or revoked, prior, (five counts), $500 fine, 30 days in jail and $48.47 restitution (first), 90 days in jail (second, third, fifth), dismissed (fourth); violating condition of release (three counts), 90 days in jail (first, second), dismissed (third); and OUI, $500 fine, 90 days in jail, and 90-day license suspension.
* Joshua A. Shrewsbury, 21, Connor Twp.: unlawful sexual contact, five years in prison, all suspended and two years’ probation.
* Troy Soucy, Jr., 19, Fort Fairfield: theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, seven days in jail.
* Melissa A. St. Peter, 30, Fort Fairfield: unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, $400 fine, two years in prison, all but 20 days suspended and two years’ probation.
* Tara Stevens, 34, Hodgdon: criminal mischief, 10 days in jail and $400 restitution.
* Chris Tupper, 28, Perham: probation violation, seven days in jail, probation partially revoked and probation continued.
* Kimberly J. Vangel, 43, Mars Hill: aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs, $400 fine and one year in prison.
* Jackie R. Ward, 55, Limestone: burglary, seven years in prison, all but one year suspended and three years’ probation; and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 60 days in jail.
* Joey R. White, Jr., 28, Caribou: OUI, two priors (two counts), $1,100 fine, two years in prison, all but 60 days suspended, two years’ probation and six years’ license and registration suspended (first), $1,100 fine, 60 days in jail and six years’ license and registration suspended (second); unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine and 60 days in jail; operating vehicle without license, condition/restriction and violating condition of release, dismissed (each).
* Jay D. Whitmore, 20, Houlton: probation violation, one year in prison, probation revoked; criminal mischief (two counts), 364 days in jail (first), six months in jail (second); aggravated criminal mischief, one year in prison; burglary (five counts), one year in prison (each), theft of services, six months in jail; and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer (five counts), 48 months in prison and $16,587.35 restitution (first), six months in jail (second, third, fourth), and two years in prison (fifth).
* Jason D. York, 37, Presque Isle: disorderly conduct, fighting, 10 days in jail; aggravated assault, dismissed; and violating condition of release, 10 days in jail.
