HALL, Helen G. Hawksley, 89, of Mapleton died Saturday, July 14, 2007 at a Presque Isle Hospital. MAPLETON – Helen G. Hawksley Hall, 89 died Saturday afternoon July 14, 2007 at a Presque Isle hospital. She was born in Mars Hill on January 6, 1918, the daughter of Frank L. and Fern (McCarty) Estabrook. She graduated from ACI, class of 1936, and was a 1960 graduate of the Maine School of Practical Nursing. Helen was a member of the State Street Baptist Church in Presque Isle. She is survived by two sons; William Hawksley and his wife Darlene of Readfield, Richard W. Hawksley of Belfast, a daughter Ruth J. Pastore and her husband Michael of Winthrop, three step children; Sandra McKinney of Arkansas, Cyril Hall of Las Vegas, NV. and LaVern Hall of Texas. A brother Ralph Estabrook of Blaine, 10 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was predeceased by two husbands; Aubrey Hawksley and Elbridge Hall, two sisters Verna Pryor and Rosalene Mullen. Relatives and friends called 7-9PM Monday at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home 30 Church St. Presque Isle. Funeral services were held 1PM Tuesday July 17, 2007 at the State Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Shaw officiating. A reception was held immediately following the service in the church hall. Interment was at Tapley Cemetery, Blaine. Condolences may be expressed at duncan-graves.com
