TURNER, Drusilla J., 85, WASHBURN, at Presque Isle, April 9, 2012. Interment will be in the Crouseville Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.
WASHBURN – Drusilla J. Turner, 85, went to be with her Lord April 9, 2012, at Presque Isle following a very brief illness. She was born in Washburn May 28, 1926 the daughter of the late Cecil and Musa (Crouse) Porter. She was educated in the Washburn school and on June 26, 1945, she married Glen Turner. Drusilla spent many years raising her family and working with Glen in their farming operation, and in later years she worked at McCain’s until the time of her retirement. Drusilla enjoyed fellowship with her Perham Baptist Church family, she had many fond memories of the times she spent on outings with the senior ladies from Washburn and she truly enjoyed times shared with her special friend, Anita Tarr of Washburn.
Drusilla is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce and Angie Turner of Presque Isle and Mark and Beverly Turner of Perham; her grandchildren, Timothy Durepo and his wife, Nancy of New Jersey, Robert Turner and his wife, Tiffany of Florida, Kimberely Dinwoodie and her fiancé, William of Rhode Island, Courtney Turner of Perham, and Rick Fitzgerald of Presque Isle; her great-grandchildren, Taylor and Sydney Durepo, Zachary and Dylan Turner and Alex Dinwoodie; her brother, Richard Porter and his wife, Barbara; and her brother-in-law, Bert Turner all of Washburn. Mrs. Turner was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Glen; and her daughter, Deborah Jean Turner.
Friends called at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou 1 p.m. Thursday until time of services which were held at 2 p.m. from the funeral with the Rev. David Goupille officiating. Interment will be in the Crouseville Cemetery. www.mocklerfuneralhome.com
