FINANCE DEPARTMENT HONORED

Presque Isle City Manager Jim Bennett presented Finance Director Pat Webb with the Government Finance Officers Association’s Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting, during the March 5 City Council meeting. Bennett noted Webb’s department earned the recognition, in part, because material was “presented in such a way the average person can read and understand it” and that the award was a “real testament (to the work) the Finance Department and staff” perform daily.
