DOT to discuss bridge replacement

BRIDGEWATER — Officials with the Maine Department of Transportation are inviting citizens to a preliminary public meeting to discuss the future replacement of the Boundary Bridge, which carries Boundary Line Road over the Prestile Stream.
Representatives of the MDOT will be present on Thursday, March 15, beginning at 6 p.m., to listen to concerns, receive comments and answer questions from anyone with an interest in the project. The meeting will be held at the Bridgewater Town Office, located at 11 Bootfoot Rd.
The department is particularly interested in learning local views relative to project consistency with local comprehensive plans, discovering local resources and identifying local concerns and issues.
Anyone with an interest is invited to attend and participate in the meeting. Accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities. Auxiliary aids will be provided upon advance request.
