Florida fugitive arrested by PIPD

PRESQUE ISLE — A man wanted in connection with a crime in Florida was apprehended by officers with the Presque Isle Police Department on Feb. 9.
A Florida arrest warrant indicated Victor Negron, 35 (dob Sept. 4, 1976) was wanted by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and that the department was willing to extradite for violation of drug offender probation. He was also wanted for resisting an officer with violence and battery.
Florida law enforcement officers learned of Negron’s whereabouts via a tip they had received through the Crime Stopper website.
According to the PIPD log, Negron has a long list of aliases, including: Ruberto Lebron, Roberto Lebron, Victor J. Negron, Victor Negron Jr., Hector Gonsalez and Victor Negron-Gonsalez.
Sgt. Eric Erickson and Officer Kevin Reed, of the PIPD, located Negron at his Davis Street residence. Negron was arrested and transported to the Caribou Police Department to await extradition to Florida.
