
FORT FAIRFIELD, Maine — Ten champions were crowned at the Knights of Columbus Council 1753 District 2 Soccer Challenge, held Sunday, Oct. 14.
District 2 is made up of the Councils from Caribou, Fort Fairfield, Limestone and Presque Isle.
Ethan Milton of Fort Fairfield scored 235 points to win the 9-year-old boys division, while Sarah Hadfield of Fort Fairfield tallied 150 points to take first place in the 9-year-old girls category.
In the 10-year-old boys division, Andrew Gagnon of Fort Fairfield, with 175 points, captured the victory. For 10-year-old girls, Mallory Cronin of Presque Isle scored 215 points for the win.
Owen Sweeney of Easton compiled 275 points to win the 11-year-old boys category, while Brianna Levesque was the winner in the 11-year-old girls division with 145 points.
For 12-year-old boys, Augustus Bonner of Easton took first place by scoring 200 points. Jacqueline Pelletier of Fort Fairfield was the 12-year-old girls champion, also with 200 points.
Blake Senal of Fort Fairfield, with a score of 200 points, prevailed in the 13-year-old boys division.
Eva Callioras of Easton was first for 14-year-old girls by totaling 235 points.
There were no contestants for 13-year-old girls and 14-year-old boys.
Hot dogs, chips and punch were served to competitors and spectators during the competition.
