O’CONNOR, Patricia Olympia, 71, KENNEBUNK, January 31, 2012. Memorial visitation will be held on Sat., Feb. 18, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Bibber Memorial Chapel, followed by a Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Arrangements in care of Bibber Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, Kennebunk.

    KENNEBUNK – Patricia Olympia O’Connor, 71, formerly of Springfield, MA, died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at her residence following a long illness. She was born in Springfield on June 24, 1940, a daughter of Alexander E. and Kathryn (Leschuk) Zilinsky.

    She grew up in Springfield where she graduated from Commerce High School. She began a career in the hospitality industry in the late 80s, first managing the 1802 House Bed and Breakfast in Kennebunk from 1988 to the early 1990s, then as event coordinator at the Shawmut Inn. From there, Patricia became the coordinator of medical staff services at Mid-Coast Hospital in Bath for many years. After retiring from there in 2002, she worked as an independent consultant in the medical staff services industry.

    Patricia absolutely loved living in Kennebunk, so much so that while working at Mid- Coast Hospital, she commuted daily.

    She was an excellent cook, and enjoyed crafts, sewing, dancing, theater and decorating. Patricia also enjoyed clowning! She was a long time member of MEAMMS, and a volunteer at the Arundel Barn Playhouse.

    Patricia is survived by her four daughters, Tami Anne Hudson and her husband, Ron of San Diego, CA, Lynn Diane Johnson of Pembroke, MA, Lori Jean Jaffe and her husband, Jack of Boulder, CO, Jodi Ellen Kelly and her husband, Bruce of Hampton, NH; two sisters, Penelope Alexandrea Gay Cunningham of Springfield, MA, Linda Kay deJesus of Chicopee, MA; 10 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and aunts.
