CARIBOU — Another holiday season, another successful toy drive by S.W. Collin’s approximately 65 employees. With a corporate match and a donated Walmart gift card, a total of $840 was raised by the business’ three locations — Caribou, Presque Isle and Houlton.

Assistant Manager at the Caribou location Travis Levesque enlisted the help of his two kids and the three were off, using the funds to purchase 118 gifts for children from approximately 1-12 years old.

“They were all pretty cool toys — my kids and I picked them out, so they had to be cool,” Levesque said.

With a wide variety of toys from action figures, crafts sets, dinosaurs and dolls, the toys were sure to bring a smile to a child’s face on Christmas.

As employees from all of S.W. Collins’ three locations donated funds for the toy project, the toys were divvied up for delivery in all three communities through their local fire department’s participation in the Toys for Tots project.
