MASTRO, Frank Theodore, 92, NATICK, MASSACHUSETTS, at Presque Isle, December 4, 2011. Arrangements in care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Homes, Presque Isle.

American Flag Color    NATICK, MASSACHUSETTS – Frank Theodore Mastro, 92, died in Presque Isle, at Leisure Village after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Wellesley, Massachusetts, on March 10, 1919, to Mr. Angelo Mastro and Mrs. Michelena Greco Mastro.

    During his years in the Natick – Wellesley area, he served in the military during World War II, and was the post commander of Post 79. He also was an AMVETS lifetime member. He retired from the Railroad Express and the U.S. Postal Service.

    He is predeceased by his first wife and mother of his children, Helen Murray Mastro; his second wife, Virginia Behmer Mastro; and a special friend, Roberta Depken. He also is predeceased by his son, John F. Mastro of Uxbridge, Mass.; as well as several brothers and sisters.

    He is survived by sons, Frank E. Mastro of Lebanon, New Hampshire; Tom Mastro of Portage Lake, Maine; and a daughter, Carol Hall, of South Carolina. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

    Services were held in Natick, Massachusetts at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home on December 9, 2011. Interment with military honors followed at the Dell Park Cemetery in Natick. In honor of Frank’s great love for children, please make donations to the St. Judes’s Hospital for children’s cancer research. Arrangements were in the care of Duncan-Graves Funeral Home.
